Working on my spot weld removal skills. Skills are coming along slowly but there are so many in an e46 chassis that I should be quite good by the time I’m finished and will never need to repeat this.

With help, I was able to remove the windshield in a single piece. Cracked but in one piece. We used a “side knife”, propane torch, heat gun and putty knives.
I attempted the rear on my own without the voice of reason to caution against “too much fire” or “don’t use screwdrivers as wedges”. This was the sudden, dramatic, result.
COTA 2016 Enduro Race health tracking
During the COTA June BMWCCA Enduro, I captured heart rate via Polar chest strap monitor. The race duration was approximately 1 hour with a 5 minute pitstop. The ambient temperature was 99F. The data was pushed to the Polar site and is available here:my Polar activity

Injectors out to cleaning
Injector #3 kept losing the lower o-ring. Sent the whole set to Mr.Inject for cleaning.
Here, #3 next to #5, the pintle is missing on #3 which might have been the cause.
The set returned, #3 pictured, with the OEM retainer in place. This consists of the white plastic plate which is firmly attached. No pintle.
