First proper change after dyno breakin and its oil change. After a weekend racing + DE, with about 6hrs on the engine, sent sample to Blackstone for analysis. Lead (pb) was high enough to raise a flag. Engine builder confirmed this is ~ normal for a new engine and should settle.
Will continue to monitor and sample each change to establish trend.
Had the sensor replaced while the box was out of the car. Before installing the transmission, checked the voltage output on the position sensor. Found this sensor provided reverse from expected. Low gears, higher V steps down as gear position increases.
Replaced some seals and the sensor. Looking good for another season š

Scratch developing into something on the L wing mount. Keeping an eye on it.

The size of the rear control arm rod ends is such that there is NO way to put a wrench on the interior jam nut. The rod end fits into the subframe with no space for a wrench. Terrible.
Resolved by hacking, cutting is too elegant a term, metal from the control arm mount. Next time, will know to look for a control arm with a smaller rod end.

Not sure where to place the fire bottle (it’s tiny!), battery and cool shirt system(yet tbd).
Thinking the cooler will go where the passenger seat mounts.
Battery and fire bottle have wires & tubing to run. Along the sill would be cleaner than runs along the tunnel. Some pictures for consideration.
